Unikk.me supports Danish Hospital Clowns
Danish Hospital Clowns do an incredible job for sick children and young people in Denmark – both in relation to physical and mental illnesses, and for children and youth connected to specialized institutions.
With the clowns' professional approach, they create a safe and positive interaction with the children and their families, helping to provide a much-needed break in the often difficult everyday life of the child and their loved ones.
In a study conducted by the Social Development Center SUS the conclusion is that:
“The efforts of the Danish Hospital Clowns have great value for the experiences of children, young people, and parents regarding illness and treatment.”
